Since moving back to NC, my books have been in stacks and boxes and cluttering up my desk, so I decided I need bookshelves. I went to Lowes and bought some lumber and screws and such and got to work. It was fun building stuff, but then I had to rearrange the room to accomodate the new furniture. Somehow, the way I arranged it, the room seems....roomier.... even with more stuff in it.

I didn't buy the cheapest lumber, but I didn't get the most expensive stuff either. The lumber is a bit warped, making it not so easy to work with. It splits easy, too.

The first of the three that I made. They work!

The best part? Instead of paying $80 for a bookcase in a box, I paid the same amount for three. Whoo hoo.
