Despite the fact that I've not really been doing much of anything else, I have been neglecting posting stuff on my blog. I have especially been negligent of writing movie reviews. And I'm only going to half make up for that now, by giving short short reviews for my recent viewings.

Evan Almighty

A kid-friendly comedy, full of animals and family moments. A little preachy-- but it's a modern-day story of Noah, so how could it possibly avoid being preachy? The animals always steal their scenes! Especially those baboons!

Knocked Up

Before I saw the movie, I assumed I probably wouldn't like the movie, even if it made me laugh a few times. I was wrong. I laughed a lot, and it was a great movie. Paul Rudd is one of the best comedy actors of his age, but underrated. The movie seemed to be saying, in a funny way, "Most people stay together for the kids." Or at least that's what I got out of it.

Ocean's Thirteen

Not nearly as fun and intriguing as the first two Ocean's movies with Pitt and Clooney and all of those other characters, but still it had it's moments. The best scenes, though, are the ones with Matt Damon, and Casey Affleck and Scott Caan.

Children of Men

(4.5 of 5 Giant Roosters)
It made me cry. You should watch it.
