Whiptail

I've been trying to get a photo of the whiptails that run around the Grand Canyon ever since I first saw them. Today I came across this juvenile whiptail and finally managed to get one to hold still long enough to get the shot. Of course, this one is dead, so he was a great poser. I'm not sure of the exact species of whiptail, but they are all over the place down in the canyon; never see them up on the plateau.
I know this one is a juvenile because it is only about 4.5", and the adults I see running around are around 9". Also, the tail on this little guy is bright blue, where on the larger ones they are green.
