I'm sitting at Gate 26 in SFO, waiting for my plane to board. I am exhausted. Rei and I spent the day on our feet. We began by meeting up with my friend Tony and taking the #76 bus over to the Marin headlands, which is the other end of the Golden Gate bridge. There was quite a bit of walking up and down hills, which was worth it for the views of the city across the bay. We another exciting view down on one of the beaches. It's quite popular with nude sunbathers. Unfortunately, we were there a bit early and it was quite windy. Nobody was naked when we arrived, but one rather rotund and sun-reddened gentleman doffed his apparel not long after. We had no problems keeping our eyes away.

I need to write some postcards and mail them before we board, so here's one photo from today. I'll post more from home.
