San Francisco (Part 4: More Photos and Video)

You can check out all of the photos I took in San Francisco here, or use the Photos of Karsten link on the right-side menu. I mostly took videos and Rei took photos since he had his dSLR and I left mine at home. Hopefully he'll send me the ones he took so I can post the good ones soon.
Like the rest of the animals, this lowland gorilla at the San Francisco Zoo was not very cooperative in his tourist-pleasing duties. He seemed to turn away every time a camera was pointed at him, and sat motionless for videos. With patience, I captured this.
These tiger cubs were the most active of any of the animals at the zoo. They seemed to be having tons of fun while the crowd, and their mom, looked on. This zoo is the same one where, on Christmas 2007, a tiger attacked three teenagers, killing one, after escaping from her enclosure. You can hear peacocks calling in the background.
This wallaroo took a few steps, looked around, and decided to munch on the grass. No hopping. No boxing people with his feet. But they're still cute, no?
Even the chimpanzees, animals you normally think of as very active, seemed numb from the cold. one was even bundled in a blanket. This one did a few seconds of acrobatics which I managed to capture.
A big rhino plays with his big ball. They do look much larger in person than on television. And for some reason his horn has been cut off.
Sea anemone in pink. Now if only I can find matching shoes.
I wish I had been able to start this video a few seconds earlier. Watching the sting ray pass overhead, passing in front of the light, was awesome. The video doesn't do it justice.
