Since I've been on my two-month vacation, I've been socializing with the friends a bit more-- which is good! That socializing sometimes leads to drinking, which sometimes leads to intoxicated silliness. That is exactly the condition in which I found myself on Friday night-slash-Saturday morning, at 8 1/2 (I hate the name of that club). My friend Chris and I drove there in my Jeep, and met some of his friends and my friends there. Generous imbibing of whiskey ensued.

Towards the end of the night, after four or five drinks for me, we decided to take group photos. Take notice of that loaded look on my face.

I can't remember if those photos were taken before or after some stranger about whom I remember very little repeatedly tried sticking his hand down my pants. He was wearing a white shirt. I remember that. My friends kept trying to keep my attention so that the stranger couldn't. Apparently he wasn't worth being interested in. I do have some vague memory of him trying to kiss me, too. He's a terrible kisser.

Around a quarter after four Chris wanted to go, only I couldn't drive. He tried to convince me to have somebody drive us home and leave my Jeep there. I refused. So he was all aggravated and got a ride home, leaving me to fend for my tipsy self. I sat on the patio for half hour or so until I could drive. I made it to bed as the sun was coming up.

Saturday was spent resting and nursing my tiny hangover.

The next day, Sunday, I headed over to Chris' for a pool-side barbecue. The kabobs were marinated in Stubbs marinade sauce and wer delish. I highly recommend it! I would not recommend, however, carousing in and by the pool under the unforgiving desert sun. Whew! For four hours I frolicked about clad only in my Speedo.

The next day, my solar overload caused a bit of pain on my shoulders, but at least it came with a cute pink skin tone!

Oh! And I bought a new 22" monitor! I'd forgotten how cool the internet looks when it's viewed on something larger than my 15" notebook monitor. Yay! The porn is much bigger.
