ABC reports today that John Edwards has admitted to them in an interview that he did, in fact, have an affair with a campaign staffer, but that the baby she had is not his.

This does much damage to tarnish his wholesome, family guy image. Unfortunately, I know how terrible the cheating thing is. I've been on both sides of it-- the cheated on and the cheater. It is my hope that Sen. Edwards can continue his work to help impoverished communities, though. He might still be able to get a position in a new Obama administration, but even that is now in question. It's very sad.
