How Superman Sees The World

Ever wondered what your brain looks like? Ever wondered how you'd have looked if you'd been cast as an undead extra in Army of Darkness? Ever wondered how Superman sees the world?
I want to share with you now three of the many photos of my brain that were taken last weekend during my MRI. Wondering what an MRI is? Well, basically it's a giant tube, into which you are rolled-- after first being tied down to an uncomfortable board, your head placed in a stabilizer. Inside the tube, surrounding the immobilized victim, are gigantic magnets which must be kept very cool to operate properly. At this point, the patient is now deathly still and deathly cold. The attending technician leaves the room, and the procedure begins. The electromagnets are switched on, ripping the skin away from the helpless patient. The technician returns with an unknown liquid in a syringe and inserts it into your now exposed blood vessels. Your organs fill the narrow tube with light as they begin to glow from what you now realize was radioactive serum. The technician fetches a Polaroid and snaps away. As he expends the last instant photo from the Bakelite relic, the intensity of the magnets increases and your muscles and flesh are ripped away. Only bones and internal organs remains. The technician then inserts a fresh cartridge and snaps some more photos. Once finished, he hauls out a watermelon-sized Slice-O-Matic. He gently rest your head atop it. Carefully, very carefully, he applies an even and constant pressure while sliding the blade back and forth, back and forth-- photographing each slice.
Then your body is superglued back together, placed into a mold to set, and voila! You're back to normal. Here are the results from mine. My favorite is the Eyeball shot!
