I don't use the OMG very often, because I'm just not that kind of gay.

I nearly suffered a huge disaster, a repeat of the terrible even that occurred three years ago. While writing the most recent post, about my superhero party, an SQL database error message popped up. That database houses every bit of information on this site, everything I've posted on this blog since 2006. After receiving the error message, the superhero post was not viewable nor was I able to delete it. It only resulted in an error message when pulling up my website. The other post were still visible. I attempted to auto-repair the database. This resulted in yet another error, the result of which was THE ENTIRE SITE WAS DEAD. Immediately upon accessing the site, an SQL error message appeared.

My heart literally stopped beating. The last error of this type resulted in my losing everything I had posted since 2003. I was so pissed at myself, as that particular error resulted after I attempted to upgrade my blog software. This time, it wasn't my fault!

Panicked, sweating, heart racing, I attempted again to auto-repair the database. The message came back, Success!.

OMG. Disaster averted. I'm going to backup the database now.
