More Shelves for More Books

For the last couple of months I've had to stack books up in neat little piles on the floor because I'd filled every inch of shelf space. I decided to build a couple more today, similar to the existing home-built cabinets but smaller. With the help of my friend James (thanks!), it only took an hour or so to get it all done. I do not believe myself to be a very good carpenter, but the three I built a few years ago (also seen below) have managed to stay in one piece (well, three pieces, I guess)-- so they are functional, even if poorly constructed. I'm happy with them.
The wood is unfinished, inexpensive white pine. I know that the unsealed wood can cause deterioration of the paper in the books, and some day I'll get around to finishing them. If I happen not to, I hope that I'll have read the books before they fall apart.
