Write With Light

When I bought my new desktop a few months ago, it came with a LightScribe CD/DVD burner. Until this morning, I'd never used it for it's special purposes of burning images and labels onto the discs. Aside from working around the hole in the center, creating the label was fairly easy. Definitely looks better than Sharpie writing! It's not as colorful as printing labels or directly on the disk, but it's pretty nifty in it's own way. You basically just flip the disc over in the tray and the burner uses it's laser to burn the image similar to the way it burns the data.
The first DVD I created using Adobe Encore CS3 was a simple 20 minute video greeting to send to my family. The one today (which actually took two days to create) is for the first 4 episodes of Gravitation, an anime series.
