Game Night

Apparently my life has been boring for two months, because that's how long it has been since I posted anything on my blog.
That's not completely true, I've just been too lazy to write anything.
On Saturday, I hosted game night at my apartment. Eleven people showed up-- more than I was expecting. I was afraid I wouldn't have enough snack & beverages, but that didn't seem to be a problem. Plenty of cheese, crackers, chicken salad finger sandwiches, wine and lemonade.
Since there were too many people for board games or card games, I had to come up with group activities at the last minute. We played Who Am I? (Like the game in the movie, Inglourious Basterds), 2 Truths and a Lie, and then Password. All of that went pretty well. Then a few people left and the remaining five of us played Gin and Poker.
The Who Am I? game was fun, but proved pretty difficult. Only twice did somebody guess correctly: Brandon gave Devon Moses, and Ivan guessed my submission, Sonia Sotomayor. 2 Truths and a Lie wasn't quite as revealing as I'd hoped-- with the one exception I mentioned below, and Password went over well because we played as two teams. My team was ahead until the very end, when we lost by two.
To finish off the night, I pulled out the poker chips and the five of us remaining played five-card draw. I was doing really well, but eventually lost. Marshall then revealed to me that others were cheating by taking chips from the bank!!
Highlights of the evening included Marshall pulling my pants down (or up, since he had me upside down) in front of everyone; Devon revealing his S&M secret; Reimon showing everyone his purple underwear; and Patrick breaking my chair.
